What topics are covered in your workshops?

Couples attend a series of weekly relationship education workshops with 10-12 other couples. Workshops are led by clinically trained relationship educators, such as psychologists and social workers. Workshops are held on weekends and weeknight evenings from 5:30-8:00 pm; a catered dinner and transportation reimbursement is provided at every workshop. Workshops help couples:

Practice communication and listening skills
Manage conflict effectively and solve problems together
Enhance trust, intimacy, friendship, and closeness
Develop shared relationship and financial goals for the future

Are there additional services provided?

Employment and Support Services

Couples receive services from an in-house Employment Specialist to develop a plan for achieving employment or educational goals. Employment Specialists assist couples with job search/placement and job skill-building by providing individual career counseling, employment workshops, and job training referrals. We also assist couples with finding resources and services for family stressors (e.g., housing concerns, legal issues) and help participants access individual, couple, or family counseling services when needed.

Supplemental Workshops

Couples attend additional workshops, such as social events and educational workshops, to supplement the core relationship education workshops. These might include:

Additional topics

Social events (e.g., date nights, movie nights, family events)
